BRIGADIER GENERAL N. GANBOLD, FIRST DEPUTY HEAD OF THE GENERAL AUTHORITY FOR BORDER PROTECTION AND CHIEF OF THE BORDER TROOPS’ STAFF, IS ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
On June 2, H.E. Mr. N. Enkhbold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the People’s Republic of China, received a delegation from the General Authority for Border Protection (GABP) of Mongolia at the Embassy. The Ambassador commended the strong cooperation and close relations between the Mongolian and Chinese border authorities.

On June 3, a trilateral working-level meeting was convened in Beijing, bringing together representatives from the General Authority for Border Protection of Mongolia, the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China, and the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the enforcement of the border regime among Mongolia, China, and Russia, discussed mechanisms for trilateral cooperation, and signed a meeting protocol to enhance collaboration in border protection between Mongolia-China, Mongolia-Russia, and China-Russia.
